Ghost Gym

The Ghost Gym is a Gym that specializes in Ghost-type Pokémon. It generates in Soul Sand Valley biomes in the Nether, alongside a themed village.

Gym

The main Gym building consists of a wide multi-tiered circular building with a dome for a roof. It is connected to a domed tower which serves as one of the corners for the elevated platform of soul sand and soul soil the Gym is built on. The outside of the structure consists mainly of blackstone, basalt and crimson wood, but it also sports accents of andesite and nether brick, and the interior is decorated with a varied palette based on sandstone and quartz.

Players enter the Gym through a tunnel below the main building, circling back through the fenced-off area up to the main entrance. Inside they ascend the central stairs and double back inside the building to a second staircase behind the first. There the player can follow the walkway in either direction to reach the entrance at the other side of the building. Inside a set of stairs lead up to an elevator, which brings the player to the Gym Leader at the top.

Village

A Ghost Gym Village

Like any village in the mod, this one generates with a Pokécenter and PokéMart near its center. It also features Daycares and TCG Shops, as well as a number of other houses and farms.

The village's design is inspired by Gothic architecture and the concept of a necropolis. The base buildings are typically rather solid, but also incorporate intricate design details. Grave imagery is featured in several buildings, from mausoleums over grave plots to tombstones found along the side of the road. Lighting like lanterns, torches or campfires are based on the blue soul fire.
