Why can't I log into the Pixelmon launcher?

You need to use your Minecraft account details to log into the Pixelmon launcher; you cannot use your Pixelmon forum account details here. If your Minecraft account was created several years ago and you have not yet migrated it to a Mojang account, you will have to do this to use the Pixelmon launcher. Additionally, you need to have purchased the computer version (excluding Windows 10 edition) of Minecraft using this account.
