Black Tumblestones are materials that can be obtained by breaking black tumblestone crystals. Black tumblestones are used to craft the ancient heavy poké balls. The black tumblestone is just one of the three variants of tumblestones: Tumblestone, Black Tumblestone, and Sky Tumblestone.
Obtaining
Black tumblestones can be obtained by breaking black tumblestone crystals with a hammer. Black tumblestone crystals emit light and can be found in mountainous biomes. The black tumblestone crystal has to be broken 3 times in order to drop raw black tumblestones. After the crystal has been broken 3 times, it can drop between 1-3 raw black tumblestones and the crystal will begin to regrow.
Black tumblestones can be obtained by using raw black tumblestones in a stonecutter.
Usage
Black Tumblestones can be used to plant black tumblestone crystals. This can be done by right clicking the ground with a black tumblestone (This only works with black tumblestones and will not work with raw black tumblestones). But there primary use is to craft the ancient heavy poké balls.
