A Plate is a held item that raises the power of the holder's corresponding-type moves by 20%. When held by Arceus, its typing and its signature move Judgment become the type of the Plate, and any corresponding-type moves, including Judgment itself, receive the power boost.
They can be obtained as a drop from Mega boss Pokémon, or from Beast Chests. The Pixie Plate can also be obtained from tier 2 Special drops. Some plates are also obtainable through other sources, such as End Cities containing Dread and Mind plates, and a Desert Temple containing Fire, Stone, and Earth Plates.
By collecting all 17 different types of plates, using each one on an Arc Chalice will grant you the Azure Flute, An item used to summon Arceus.
