The Pixelmon Discord is a Discord server for Pixelmon discussion. It can be accessed using this link. Many of the Pixelmon team members also frequent this server, allowing discussion directly with them.

Before chatting in the Pixelmon Discord server, it is advised to read the rules of the server in the #rules channel. Failure to do so may result in being banned from the Pixelmon Discord, or, in extreme cases, being reported to the Discord crew.

This channel is used by the Pixelmon team to host giveaways. In these giveaways, you have the ability to win some of the Giveaway Items.

This channel is used by the Pixelmon team to host more infrequent giveaways with much larger rewards.

#general

This channel is used for general discussions about Pixelmon that do not fit into any of the other channels. Off-topic discussions, such as Pokémon discussions that are unrelated to Pixelmon, do not belong here.

#offtopic

This channel is used for off-topic discussions that do not fit into any of the other channels. These discussions are non-Pixelmon related topics.

This channel is for introducing yourself, feel free to say hello!

#competitive

This channel is used for discussing competitive Pokémon battling within Pixelmon.

#mc-screenshots

This channel is used for people to post and share their screenshots from in-game.

#art-food-and-adorable-pets

This channel is used for people to post and share their artwork, whatever it may be, food (could argue food is art?) and adorable pets.

#addon-downloads

This channel is used for people who have created maps, resource packs, configs, and other downloads to share with people. In order to post in this channel, you will need to contact a member of the Pixelmon team.

#wiki-edits

This channel is used for discussing aspects of the Pixelmon wiki.

#wiki-feed

This channel is used by PixelBot to post changes made to the wiki.

#general-questions

This channel is used for non-support-related questions regarding Pixelmon.

This channel is used to ask for general help with aspects of Pixelmon. Help related to servers do not belong here.

#server-support

This channel is used to ask for help with servers running Pixelmon related to management or maintenace. Server recruitments do not belong in this channel.

#spawner-support

This channel is used to ask for help with Pokémon spawning. For example, configuring spawning locations.

#programming-support

This channel is used to ask for help with coding related to Pixelmon. Discussion related to aspects such as JSONs do not belong in this channel.

#logs-and-screenshots

This channel is used to post logs to receive help. If you have posted logs, you will be contacted by a member of the Pixelmon team to recieve the requested help. Only the Pixelmon staff are able to see the channel history.

#battle-logs-only

This channel is just for uploading Battle logs from the logs directory. Feel free to upload them without context, as we'll use them to diagnose battle issues.

#reports-and-requests

This channel is for reporting users in this Discord breaking rules as well as to request that a domain be whitelisted. This channel is not for reporting people outside of this Discord, ie a multiplayer server or the like.

To report a user, use /report @user <reason>

Use /request <domain> <reason> to request a domain be allowed on this server.

This channel is used to advertise your Pixelmon server. Be sure to read and follow the rules posted in the '#rules' channel or the advertisement will be removed.

This channel is used for sharing your Nintendo Friend Code. This channel is not meant for discussion so other messages will be deleted.

General

This channel is used for general discussions, not necessarily related to Pixelmon.

AFK

This channel is used for people who are AFK. Whilst in this channel, people are muted and unable to talk.

Support

This channel is used for providing support through voice chat.

Public 1

This channel is used for general discussions, not necessarily related to Pixelmon.

Roles

Certain people in the Pixelmon Discord have roles. The main roles are indicated by the color of the person's name when they have posted a message and on the member list sidebar.

Administrators

Administrators are the leaders of Pixelmon development. Each administrator is in charge of a different aspect of Pixelmon.

Developers

Developers are involved in programming for Pixelmon, including the main Pixelmon mod and its sidemods. A few users with developer roles do not directly develop for Pixelmon, but are active in related Minecraft development roles, such as Sponge development, plugin development, or content hosting.

Community Helpers

Community Helpers are individuals who help with Pixelmon in ways other than programming, including asset development (modelling, texturing, animation, voice acting, structure building), Pixelmon forum moderation, or Pixelmon Discord moderation.

50k Members Club

The 50k Members Club role was granted to every user in the Pixelmon Discord when it reached 50,000 members! Having this role grants linked users access to the Haa Mask cosmetic in-game.

2021 Winter Solstice

The 2021 Winter Solstice role was granted to every user in the Pixelmon Discord during the 2021 Christmas season. The cut-off for this role was December 26, 2021. Having this role grants linked users access to the Christmas Spheal special texture in-game.

10th Anniversary

The 10th Anniversary role was granted to every user in the Pixelmon Discord during Pixelmon's 10th anniversary! Having this role grants linked users access to the Anniversary Hood cosmetic in-game.
