Redstone is obtained from mining redstone ore deep in caves like in vanilla Minecraft. It is also dropped by many wild Electric-type Pokémon (and a few others). It is needed to craft various machines in Pixelmon, including the PC, Fossil cleaner, Fossil machine, trading machine, cloning machine, Itemfinder, and Pokédex.
