A Big Root is a held item that increases the health gained from moves that drain health. This does not increase the damage dealt by these moves. It can be obtained as a tier 1 special drop. It can also be obtained as a drop from certain wild Pokémon.
If a Pokémon holds a Big Root, the following moves are affected by it:
- Absorb
- Aqua Ring
- Drain Punch
- Draining Kiss
- Dream Eater
- Giga Drain
- Ingrain
- Leech Life
- Leech Seed
- Mega Drain
