Counter is a damage-dealing Fighting-type move that will damage the opponent by double the damage the opponent dealt to the user, if the damage was done with a physical attack. It will fail if the user is not hit by a physical attack, and will be ineffective against Ghost-type Pokémon. Counter always moves last.
