Platinum Ore

Platinum is a new ore introduced in 9.0.0. Its main usage is the manufacturing of several Pokeball types and tools.

Mining

Platinum can be found within stone at height levels between 0 and 12, in veins similar to Diamond. It is also a drop from certain wild Pokémon.

Platinum ore requires at least an iron pickaxe to break.

Usage

Smelting ingredient

Platinum ore is used to produce platinum ingots by smelting the ore in a furnace.
