Substitute is a Normal-type move that creates a substitute of itself using 25% of its maximum HP, failing if the user has 25% of its HP or less. The substitute will have HP equivalent to 25% of the user's maximum HP + 1. The substitute will take damage from direct attacks for the user, and status moves used on the substitute will fail. The substitute will fade when it loses all of its HP or if the user switches out. The Infiltrator Ability will bypass the substitute and deal damage to the user directly. Sound-based moves will also bypass the substitute.
