This article is about Porygon itself. For the crafted item that spawns it, see Porygon (item).
Porygon is a Normal-type Pokémon. It evolves into Porygon2 when traded while holding an Up-Grade, who evolves further into Porygon-Z if it is traded again while holding a Dubious Disc.
The standard version does not spawn in the wild normally, but instead can be crafted as a Porygon item with its constituent parts, randomly obtained from crafting PCs, Healers or Trade Machines. Only the Trade Machine itself gives Porygon pieces, while none of the parts used to create it do.
Porygon is capable of reverting itself entirely back to program data and entering cyberspace. This Pokémon is copy-protected so it cannot be duplicated by copying.
