The Water Gym is a Gym that specializes in Water-type Pokémon. It generates in Deep Ocean biomes, alongside a themed village.
Contents
Gym
The Gym itself is located above the Town Center structure as a wide tower and can be accessed via a watern column in its center, which contains bubble columns to ease the ascend. The outer walls consist of a narrow aquarium, supported by a grid of Ultra Desert Sandstone and various types of prismarine blocks. It ends in a slanted roof which sports a water drop pattern.
Players arrive in the lowest level via the pool in the center. From there they progress through different regions of the ocean to get to the top: From the deep sea over the shallows to the beach, each of which feature Gym Trainers who will challenge the player. At the end the player makes it up to the spacious top of the tower, where the Gym Leader awaits them on a throne of prismarine. To get back down quickly, players can take the bubble elevator behind the throne.
Village
Like any village in the mod, this one generates with a Pokécenter and PokéMart near its center. It also features a Daycare and TCG Shop, as well as a number of other houses and structures.
Due to its unique location as a floating structure out in the ocean, it doesn't generate based on a network of streets like other villages. Instead it consists of a number of platforms, either connected directly or via a network of piers. These platforms support a number of different buildings, from the main buildings over regular houses to a lighthouse.
A large variety of decorative elements give life to the town. The layout of the Town Center's plaza below the main Gym is generated entirely at random and can sport various types of seating areas, decorations like flower beds or sculptures, or shops. The paths on all platforms also sport a variety of elements, including vending machines, flowers, bins and shaded seating. Piers generate with a mix of harbor and pool equipment. And buoys and kelp gardens may be attached to platforms via chains.

Trivia
- The Water Gym town is currently the most complex structure in Pixelmon, with 61 structure elements unique to itself (not counting the 21 used for Gym NPCs), and additionally reusing 6 of the Boats.
- Before version 9.0.0 there used to be two versions of the Water Gym:
- The Swimmer's Stronghold was a domed structure with water installations. The waterfalls could be ascended to reach the balconies, from which players could take an elevator to the Gym Leader at the top.
- The Stream Plaza contained a water maze, which the player had to follow to a lifeguard tower, from which it transitioned into a parkour puzzle to reach the Gym Leader.
